At the age of 9, London schoolgirl Paige Lewis must be the youngest designer Honda has ever had. Paige was one of thousands of children who took part in a competition run from Honda's Environment Stand at the Innocent Drink Fruitstock festival held in Regent's Park earlier this year.

Honda was at Fruitstock to promote its petrol-electric hybrid technology, and the idea of the competition was to create graphics for a Civic Hybrid which - once the design had been transferred to the car - would be loaned to the winner's family for a month.

Thanks to Paige's artistic efforts, the Lewises duly took temporary delivery of the car, which has proved to be very popular on the school run. "My favourite part of the design is the rainbow," says Paige. "Everyone at school calls it the rainbow car."
